After a brief hiatus, Arc Audio has once again renewed their status as an IASCA Industry Supporter Member for 2011.

people and on the top of their game when it comes to sound quality competition. We look forward to seeing the Team Arc Audio guys back in the IASCA lanes in 2011.”

 

Fred Lynch sits on the IASCA Rules and Ethics Committee and helped to update IASCA’s rules for competition for the 2011 season.

IASCA is working on a new “Judges Kit” which will include all the tools necessary for an IASCA Certified Judge to perform their duties consistently and professionally.

 

The new kit will include items required to meet the new 2011 rule set, as well as some of the traditional “stand by” tools of the trade.

 

The kit will include the IASCA CDs, a pair of German Maestro GMP8.35 studio monitor headphones, a portable SPL meter, clipboard, pens, flashlight, stopwatch and much more.

 

“We’re in the midst of getting price quotes on many of these products” said Moe Sabourin “We’re doing our best to make deals with manufacturers that will allow us to offer these kits to judges at a very reasonable price point. From what we’ve been able to put together, it looks like we’ll be able to give our judges about $500 worth of product for less than $300.”

 

Also, Judges will receive an Official IASCA Judge’s shirt when they become certified.

 

“Our goal is to offer our officials every possible tool for the lowest possible price.” Sabourin stated “These kits will be available to all current certified judges, as well as to those who take the Judges Training Course.
